Privacy policy
How GoldNetwork collects and handles personal data, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
Last updated: January 2026
1. Who we are
GoldNetwork is an independent cybersecurity firm based in Geneva, Switzerland ("GoldNetwork", "we", "us"). We are the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this website. For any privacy question, contact info@gold-network.ch.
2. What we collect
This is a static website and we keep data collection to a minimum:
- Contact details you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, your message opens in your own email application and is sent directly to us. We receive the name, email address, any company name and the content of your message.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
3. Why we process it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about (performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps).
- To operate and secure the website (our legitimate interest in a safe, functioning site).
- To comply with legal obligations where they apply.
4. Third parties
We keep third parties to a minimum. The fonts on this site are self-hosted, so loading a page makes no request to any third-party font service. We do not share the personal data you send us with any third party for marketing, and we do not sell it. Where an engagement requires it, any data you entrust to us is handled under a separate confidentiality agreement.
5. Where your data is handled
Personal data you send us is handled in Switzerland. Any processing is subject to appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard, short retention period.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, or object to its processing. To exercise any right, email info@gold-network.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or your local supervisory authority.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its date.
